2. Before Work Begins
If a project is cancelled before substantive work begins, Searchlix SEO may approve a refund of prepaid fees, less any non-refundable third-party charges, payment-processing costs where lawfully applicable, or work already performed to prepare the engagement.
3. After Work Has Begun
Once research, analysis, mapping, planning, reporting, meetings, or other substantive project work has begun, fees attributable to completed or committed work are generally not refundable. If only part of a prepaid scope has been completed, any discretionary refund will take account of work performed and costs incurred.
4. Monthly Monitoring
For ongoing Organic Visibility Monitoring, cancellation affects future service periods according to the billing arrangement stated in the applicable invoice or written scope. Fees for a monitoring period that has already started may be non-refundable when work or reporting for that period has begun.
5. Dissatisfaction with Search Results
A change in rankings, traffic, indexing, search-engine features, or other third-party search behavior is not by itself a basis for a refund. Searchlix SEO does not guarantee specific ranking positions or traffic outcomes.
6. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you were charged twice or paid an incorrect amount, contact Searchlix SEO with sufficient payment details so the issue can be reviewed.
7. Requesting a Refund Review
Refund requests should include the project reference, service, payment date, and reason for the request. Searchlix SEO will evaluate the request against the applicable scope and work completed. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
